ILRF's Rights for Working Women [1] (RFWW) Campaign has sought to bring together allies throughout the developing world to promote viable remedies for the problem of sexual harassment and violence in the workplace.
ILO standards include:
- Convention 100 - Equal Remuneration Convention [2], which guarantees equal remuneration for men and women workers for work of equal value
- Convention 111 - Discrimination of Employment and Occupation [3], which states that governments should “uphold equality of opportunity and treatment in respect of employment and occupation, with a view to eliminating any discrimination in respect thereof.”
- Convention 183 - Maternity Protection Convention [4], which protects women from safety risks during pregnancy and guarantees paid maternity leave
