"The decorum of the room is you don't clap," Council President Sam Adams commenced the meeting. "If you like something somebody says, you do jazz hands."
With Mayor Tom Potter and Commissioner Dan Saltzman on vacation, the remaining troika of commissioners was like-minded, left-leaning and light-hearted at Wednesday's City Council meeting. Adams demonstrated jazz hands. Commissioners joked about Randy Leonard turning 87 or 60 (the 29th was Leonard's 55th birthday) and his "Don Johnson" fashion style (his collar was accidentally turned up). Some poor sap stood in a council chamber full of anti-sweatshop activists in a bird-of-prey outfit (no word on the conditions in which the plush suit fledged)...
