Consumers upset about alleged labor violations surrounding Hershey’s chocolate are using QR codes to raise awareness of the company’s practices.
The campaign, called Raise the Bar, Hershey! [1], has asked supporters to print out a consumer alert card and leave it around Hershey’s products. Each card has a QR code that informs shoppers and directs them to take action.
The cards are just part of a larger campaign [2] that includes online petitions, a profile on Change.org [3] and screenings of a movie detailing the darker side of the chocolate industry.
