ILRF to Participate in Just Jobs Network First Annual Meeting Egypt

As a core member of the Just Jobs Network, the ILRF will participate in the Network’s first annual meeting: Just Jobs for Growth & Stability, to be held in Cairo, Egypt on May 27th, 2011.
The event will bring together international policy experts, government leaders, representatives from local, regional and international unions, non-governmental organizations and think tanks to discuss key challenges and mechanisms for good job creation worldwide as a necessary basis for broad-based, sustainable economic growth.
As a core member of the Just Jobs Network, ILRF looks forward to discussing the issue of how to create broad based, sustainable economic growth, complete with labor rights including the right to organize and collective bargaining, appropriate remuneration, social protections such as health care and pensions, and opportunities for economic mobility.
